Inspired by George Nakashimas' wonderful sensitivity to wood and japanese esthetic. Standard size is 40" x 82" which seats six persons. Top is a generous 1-1/4" and the entire table knocks down and ships flat.

Alcohol does not affect the finish, nor does paint thinner. Acetone or Fingernail polish remover will damage the finish. We apply four coats of AC-U (Acid Cured Urethane), sanding the surface down in-between each coat to achieve a partial filled grain effect.

Each made individually, our tables are designed to aesthetically compliment our dining chairs and match their craftsmanship and beauty. Our finish of two part Urethane provides beauty and is impervious to any amount of hot or cold liquid, as well as being resistant to scratches and unaffected by common chemicals such as alcohol or cleansers. It is 4 mils thick and cannot act as an armour! We do not stain our woods (unless requested, upcharge applies), allowing its' natural beauty and color to shine through.
