Honshitsu- the essence. My newest stool. We make it in three sizes- 16", 17" and 18". The top is 17-1/2" x 14" deep. You may mix woods so the legs are different from the dished seat. If woods are mixed, the pricing is based on the seat wood.
While 18" is the accepted dining chair seat height, I am surprised to find out how much I like a 14" or 16" stool at a dining table, and my wife says I don't slouch over into my food as much! It also feels good to stretch out the hamstrings on a lower stool occasionally.
